The LASCYPAA Advisory council is a body of members who have previously hosted a LASCYPAA. The council acts as the custodians of the conference and are the legal body ensuring that LASCYPAA continues. Each host year, the current host committee elects 3 Advisory Council members and 3 alternate Advisory Council members. Each member was elected on the council by their host committee to serve on the council for a term of 5 years. LASCYPAA is a non profit corporation and the council is the legal body representing the conference. The council is a steward to the current host committee and the current cities bidding for where the next LASCYPAA will be held.
